Ayurveda Workshop with Jill Holland

Ayurveda is an ancient medical system of India that encompasses myriad techniques for healing a person's body, mind, and spirit through diet, lifestyle, and yoga. Find out more about your own unique constitution on how the 5 elements show up for you. Learn about Ayurveda’s approach to health and how the elements appear in everything we encounter and consume (the “doshas”) and how some things are more/less appropriate for different people. Sample a detox stew used by Ayurvedic practitioners for cleansing and healing. It is FUN and fascinating stuff; everyone can pick up at least some tidbit (if not many) about making them more aware of their choices for their health and well-being. There are ALWAYS lively conversations and "AHA" moments that ensue.
